What can I expect from an appointment with you?2023-08-19T04:51:30+00:00

The key to good care is listening. I’m here to know your story, to get an understanding of where you are coming from. I’m part of your team and I’m here to be on your side. One of the most common issues I find is that people start off their health journey feeling overwhelmed. My role is to take you through this process in manageable steps so you can feel confident and comfortable along the way knowing you’ve reached your goals – and although the journey may be shorter or longer, I’m here by your side to help you along the path.

How will you work with my GP/Specialist/IVF doctor?2023-08-19T04:52:53+00:00

I believe that by working together, allopathic and naturopathic medicine can achieve outstanding results. I will communicate with your treating doctor(s) and am happy to answer any questions or address any feedback they may have. My husband is a cardiologist, and we have an excellent understanding of how the different approaches interact and complement each other. We have both referred to the other, with great comfort in knowing that each approach is respected and has a key role in how any individual can reach their best outcome.

Do you only treat women’s health and fertility, or do you manage other issues?2023-08-19T04:54:17+00:00

I’m very comfortable with and have significant experience in treating a wide range of individuals and issues. I believe that managing gut health is at the core of many issues. We have known traditionally of the importance of this, and science is now proving this theory on many levels. If there is a particular area that I believe requires a specialist approach, I am happy to reach out to my wide range of contacts to find the right person to assist.

Do you treat children?2023-08-19T04:55:33+00:00

Yes, I love treating children, especially working with mothers in the first few years of life to focus on gut and immune issues. One area I find is of particular importance is the introduction of foods and managing intolerances and allergies in children to promote overall health and wellbeing.

What’s the difference between online and in person appointments?2023-08-19T04:56:25+00:00

To me this is all about what each individual prefers. I can offer the same type of attention, education and support via Zoom that I do in person. Many people still prefer the face to face experience, and I have the options of clinics in Doncaster and Mt Eliza, but the convenience of online appointments from the comfort of their own home appeals to others. Either way I can offer the full extent of my knowledge and experience to help with your concerns.

Are supplements included in the price?2023-08-19T04:56:59+00:00

No, the cost of supplements is in addition to the consultation. Each person might need a different regime of supplements and these are prescribed according to your body’s needs and health issues. They can be paid for online and sent directly to your preferred address from our online suppliers.

How often do I need to see you?2023-08-19T04:57:45+00:00

At the beginning of a treatment course this is usually more frequent (ie. 2-4 weeks) while we monitor your response to the acute changes and initiate active treatment. After we have stabilised the results and things are at a consistent level, appointments will usually be every 2-3 months depending on each individual’s needs and the severity of their issues. Finally, once the issues are fully stabilised we will generally do a 6-12 monthly appointment to monitor ongoing progress and keep your health on track.
